Morning Preparations
The day begins early at our local dispensary as we prepare to serve the Vernon and surrounding BC communities. As a budtender, I arrive at 8:30 AM to help set up for the day, ensuring our display cases are pristine and our inventory is properly stocked.
Customer Service Excellence
One of the most rewarding aspects of working in the cannabis industry is helping customers find exactly what they’re looking for. Whether it’s residents from Armstrong making the short drive over, or locals from Lavington stopping by, each interaction is an opportunity to share knowledge and provide guidance.
Daily Tasks Include:
- Verifying customer identification and compliance
- Maintaining detailed inventory records
- Providing product education and recommendations
- Ensuring store cleanliness and organization
- Processing transactions securely
Afternoon Rush
The lunch hour brings in professionals from throughout the Okanagan Valley. Many customers from Kelowna make the trip to visit us, appreciating our selection and expertise. We often get folks asking about the differences between various strains and consumption methods.
Evening Wind Down
As the day progresses, we see a steady stream of customers from across the region, including those making their way back from Kamloops. Our team takes pride in creating a welcoming, professional atmosphere where both seasoned consumers and those new to cannabis feel comfortable asking questions.
Before closing, we ensure all daily reports are complete, the store is tidied, and everything is ready for another day of serving our valued customers throughout the BC Interior.
Working in the regulated cannabis industry requires attention to detail, extensive product knowledge, and a genuine desire to help people find what works best for them. Every day brings new faces and opportunities to make a positive impact in our community.
